Never before has this heart felt so light
Like a letter whose destination is in sight

Wandering on an empty weary road
And that too with our eyes stubbornly closed

What is this magical place that we have found
Without an aim, by simply stumbling around ?

The threads of Love, with your hands are entwined
A way to untangle them I cannot find

– A translation of Varun Grover’s Yeh Moh Moh ke dhaage from Dum laga ke haisha

I heard this song for the first time today and loved it 🙂 Did you discover it recently as well? Just curious

I love the sound of “moh” and “toh” in the first few lines, such a beautiful pair of rhyming words used so beautifully in the song.

I watched the film this weekend 🙂 That’s when I heard the song. It was lovely to watch too.

I love the imagery in the first few lines and the sounds of the words and the music … All combine together to give an almost magical effect !
