By the stream I stood, drenched in an autumn night’s shower
All alone, but for her across the shore of the river
We were poles apart from each other, me and her
Yet somehow bound together by a rainbow of silver
Cast by the gentle rain from moon’s luxuriant treasure

    Whoa, this is beautifully crafted. Who would have thought that prosaic film songs for pedestrians (like me) contained within them the seeds of such beautiful poetry.
