A Wednesday

Somehow I kept putting off watching it, fearing it was about religious riots and more melodrama, but surprisingly, A Wednesday was an extremely well-shot, fast paced film steering clear of all the dangerously predictable moments which seem to crop up in almost all films in this genre.

And N.Shah, we bow to thee, master. And is something the matter with me ? I found Jimmy Shergill’s two-step ” bash him up and put on dark-cooling-glasses” performance extremely attractive 😛

A well-shot thriller, worth a lot of watches. But steer clear of Unnai pol oruvan, the tamil version. (Can a film which gives away the ending in its title ever be defended ? And plus if it has the KH factor, more the reason to avoid it like plague, though Mohanlal and Lakshmi’s presence tempt you)
